What is the DVA Program
El Rapha Cares provides DVA Program services, offering tailored home care to veterans and their families through the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Our veterans support services, including DVA Program home care, help you maintain independence and wellbeing. We guide you through DVA Program eligibility to access the care you're entitled to.
The DVA Program, managed by the Department of Veterans' Affairs, provides health and support services to eligible veterans, war widows, and widowers. El Rapha Cares delivers DVA home care, such as personal care and nursing, to support your health and lifestyle. We ensure your care is personalised and respectful.

Are You Eligible?
To access the DVA Community Nursing Program at no cost, you generally need a referral from your GP or Hospital and:
Veteran Gold Card
Eligible for all clinically assessed nursing and personal care needs.
Veteran White Card
Eligible for conditions accepted as war-related.
How to Start
Get a Referral
Ask your GP or Hospital Discharge Planner for a referral to El Rapha Cares.

We arrange a home visit to assess your health and home environment.
